What I'll do for District 3

To be responsible, to listen, and to lead. Here's what that means on the City Council.

Responsible with the budget
Every dollar the city spends belongs to the people of Tracy. I've chaired the Measure V Oversight Committee and serve on the Measure O Oversight Committee, and I'll bring that same care to the city budget.
Listening to every resident
District 3 residents should feel heard at City Hall. I'll listen to the concerns of all citizens and bring them to the council table.
Strong, clear leadership
Tracy needs leaders who make clear decisions and stand by them. I'll stand up for what is right and stay accountable to the community I serve.

About Ameni

Home for 30 years

I'm married to Olinga Alexander, and for more than 30 years I have called Tracy my home. For more than 27 years, I have dedicated myself to public service, civic engagement, and community leadership.

I have worked alongside mayors, City Council members, business leaders, and residents. Through those experiences, I learned an important lesson: government works best when elected officials listen to the people they serve. Today I serve as CFO of the Generation of Future Leaders Heritage Fund.
